Important Usage Instructions:
For the best heat retention results, fill the pot with boiling water or piping-hot tap water first, close the lid and let it sit for 10 minutes before replacing it with the actual beverage you want to keep hot.Pour beverage as hot as you possibly can and start out with airpot being 90-95% full. As the beverage level drops, the heat dissipates to the upper stainless steel walls of the airpot not covered by the beverage. Hence at only 25% full, coffee will not stay piping-hot for much longer unless the airpot is refilled. This is due to physics and is common with all thermal carafes or airpots.Use a long handle cleaning brush to clean and rinse the airpot thoroughly with dishwashing liquid and water periodically and before first use.Always place the airpot in a horizontal and upright position. Avoid careless handling, tilting or dropping, as damage and leakage may occur.Do not put in a dish-washer or submerge it in the sink as this would damage the insulation.Not suitable for carbonated beverages.
